The 2000s have seen upgrades and relocation of Piedmont branches, a name and charter change and a new President. However, Piedmont continues to be a local source of home lending and stable savings, using the sound principles upon which it was built to continue serving our communities.

  • 2008
    Piedmont Federal Savings & Loan underwent its fourth name and charter change – to Piedmont Federal Savings Bank.
  • 2009
    Richard F. Wagner, Jr. was named Piedmont’s 7th President.
  • 2010
    Piedmont continued its tradition of gifting buildings by donating their previous Northside Branch to the Winston Salem Urban League to become a “Quality of Life” Center.
  • 2012
    New Home Office opens on South Stratford Road, and Piedmont’s assets surpassed $920M.
